At Basile Studio, we see each project as an opportunity to merge architecture, craft, and narrative. Castle Ferreira, a 15,000-square-foot Gothic Revival residence in Mission Hills, embodies this approach—balancing medieval romance with contemporary luxury.

Our role was to bring depth and atmosphere to the interiors. Drawing from European influences, we combined heavy stone and soaring arches with moody, intimate spaces designed for discovery. Walnut millwork, brass detailing, leather textures, and bespoke stone finishes create a dialogue between grit and refinement, the timeless and the modern.

The home holds hidden passageways, concealed bars, and a ballroom that transforms into a nightclub. These elements go beyond ornamentation, serving as immersive experiences layered with craftsmanship and precision. Every detail, from antique cobblestones to custom furnishings, was chosen to ensure the home feels storied and singular.

Castle Ferreira is both fortress and sanctuary—a residence that honors history while embracing modern indulgence.
