Pressroom / Bar Mercury

Basile Studio transformed a former printing facility into a layered hospitality experience, where industrial heritage meets sculptural refinement. At The Pressroom, warm cognac leather, oxidized tones, and custom artwork echo the building’s past, while floor-to-ceiling windows and lush greenery soften the space’s industrial core. A striking lenticular piece reveals dual imagery—antique press and pop-art collage—capturing the spirit of reinvention.

Adjoining yet distinct, Bar Mercury introduces a moodier, mid-century counterpoint. Rich walnut, dark bronze fixtures, and custom mosaic flooring create a refined, immersive backdrop for both intimate gatherings and private events. Together, the spaces reflect Basile Studio’s hallmark approach: narrative-driven design, executed with material integrity and exacting detail.
